The Surgical Group of South Jersey is very pleased to announce that we have entered an exciting new relationship with Virtua Health. As a result, our new name is Virtua Surgical Group, P.A.

As we’ve evolved during our 75-year history, the face of SGSJ has changed, but we’ve never wavered from our fundamental values. Essentially, we’ve grown along with the South Jersey landscape, attracting some of the most distinguished surgeons throughout the process. Now, we are proud to be part of an institution which is also highly respected within our region – Virtua.

We believe that the mission of our organizations – putting high quality care and patient satisfaction above all else – will continue to ensure great benefits to all those served by our practice.

To serve the needs of our community our group contains specialty board certified surgeons performing complex emergency surgeries as well as elective operations. Our surgeons provide comprehensive surgical services in cardiac surgery, thoracic surgery, thyroid surgery, gallbladder surgery, cancer surgery (lung, breast, colon, thyroid), colorectal surgery, vascular surgery, hernia surgery and minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery.
