With the most advanced technology in a unique design and a longer wave length, Cutera CoolGlide can safely and effectively treat both tiny superficial veins and deeper blue leg veins in patients. Occasionally, patients may need injection sclerotherapy as well. This will depend on the vein and skin type of the patient.

Varicose Veins Varicose vein surgery has dramatically changed over the last few years with minimally invasive procedures such as endovenous ablation where heat or a laser is used to destroy the inside of a vein, thereby decompressing the veins with improvement of the appearance of the leg and symptoms. Some patients may also require micro-phlebectomy which is used to treat smaller branches of the varicose veins by creating small incisions and removing the veins.
