Those patients who are prone to increased pigmentation of their scar such as redness and brown discoloration may be good candidates for laser Genesis of these areas. This laser treatment will reduce the redness in scars so that the scar blends in with the skin in a more natural way. Typically, patients need five to six treatments usually spread out every three to four weeks. We also recommend a treatment course for scar management including massage.
